How to set up iPhone and iPod Touch to receive mail

Click Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account… > Other > Add Mail Account

If you are checking your email account from another computer or device, it is strongly recommended to use IMAP instead of POP.

Name: {Your Name} (put your name here)
Address: {Full email address} your@emailaddress.com
Description: {some put email address here} your@emailaddress.com

Incoming Mail Server
Host Name: {mail.domain name} mail.yourdomain.com
User name: {full email address} your@emailaddress.com
Password: {the password for your email address} ********
Outgoing Mail Server

SMTP: Click the “>”
Primary server: Click the “>”

Server: On
Outgoing Mail Server
Host name: {mail.domain name} mail.yourdomain.com
User name: {full email address} your@emailaddress.com
Password: {the password for your email address} *******
Use SSL: Off

Authentication: Click the “>”
Server Port: 25

Note: If prompted about turning SSL on, select "No".  You will then need to save your profile, go into the Advanced settings for the Outgoing account, turn SSL OFF and then change the port to 25.
